Pet Care Position–Inside and Out Pet Care LLC
Position is responsible for the care of “pet clients” of Inside and Out Pet Care.
Job Description:
As a Pet Care Representative for Inside and Out Pet Care LLC you must like all types of animals from caged pets, dogs/cats to farm pets. You will need to be confident talking to people but not pushy or overbearing. Form a relationship with the owner’s pets so that the owner is comfortable with you. Ask qualifying questions; listen to the potential customer’s needs. Offer the services that best fit that particular prospective’s needs.
Requirements
- Must be physically able to walk both large and small dogs
- Must treat all pets as family and handle them with love and care
- Must read and follow Inside and Out Pet Care Contractor Handbook
- Must be available to take care of pets in adverse weather conditions
Key Responsibilities
- Follow instructions in the on-line scheduler for each pet assigned
- Be punctual for all appointments
- Walk dogs of all sizes
- Care for cats, birds and other inside pets as instructed by owner
- Clean litter boxes
- Care for farm animals and horses as instructed by owner
- Remove manure for farm animals as requested by owner
- Water plants, open/close windows/shades, take out trash, lock doors
- Sell services to potential clients
